» » CPSC DG Pays Courtesy Visit to New Malaysian Ambassador to the Philippines

The Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC) Director General Dr. Mohammad Naim Yaakub paid a courtesy visit to the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Philippines and newest member of the CPSC Governing Board, His Excellency Dato’ Mohd Zamri Bin Mohd Kassim on March 14, 2013 at the Embassy of Malaysia in Manila, Philippines.

Prior to this post, H.E. Dato’ Zamri was the Undersecretary of the Consular Division, Department of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Malaysia. He held key positions in diplomatic missions of Malaysia to various countries such the post of Ambassador to Sudan and Oman, Minister Counsellor/Charge d’ Affaires, Zagreb, Croatia; Consul General, Guangzhou, China; and Second Secretary, Beijing, China. He was also designated as Principal Assistant Secretary (Protocol), Principal Assistant Secretary (West Asia), Assistant Secretary (East Asia), and Assistant Secretary (Protocol) of MFA Malaysia in the early years of his diplomatic career. He holds a B. Soc. Sc. (Hons)(Political Science) from the Universiti Salns Malaysia.

The DG shared the brief history, programs and activities of the Staff College, particularly the programs conducted with participation of Malaysian nationals as well as the number of beneficiaries each program. His Excellency received the information positively and assured his support to the endeavors of CPSC.
